On 20 July 2006, the Liebermann Garden in Hamburg made the headlines following an attempt during the night by vandals to set fire to plants in the garden, probably using a powerful gas torch. The hornbeam hedges in particular were badly affected.
Hamburger Abendblatt: "Brandstifter im Liebermann-Garten" (“Arsonists in the Liebermann Garden”), 20.07.06 and
"Kommentar: Randale im Liebermann-Garten" (“Comment: Rampage in the Liebermann Garden”).
Because we wanted to contribute to the preservation of this special garden in Hamburg, we offered to assist in its restoration with WALDLEBEN.
On 24 August 2006, treatment commenced with the hedges and trees in the garden being sprayed intensively and watered with 30 litres of WALDLEBEN by Meister und Meister GmbH - Garten und Landschaftsbau of Hamburg.
We will provide regular updates here on the progress of this operation!
